As I'm sure many of you know, the US has been putting forth a bill known as the Stop Online Piracy Act, or SOPA. Without getting into the specifics of the bill, it threatens to cripple the internet as we know it. In protest of SOPA (and it's sister act, PIPA), numerous websites will be going black in just over 7 hours.

Wikipedia
Reddit
Mozilla
Boing Boing
The Cheezburger network (including failblog)
and more

These are just a few of the websites that could be shut down forever if SOPA goes through. Lets hope a taste of the internet under SOPA leaves a bitterness in the mouths of the American public.
